As an independent singer-songwriter, Julie-Anne is a multi-faceted artist with her songs laxly gathered into Easy Rock, Pop and Neo Blues styles. Piano is her chosen instrument and her vocals are earthy yet ethereal. She embraces her dexterity and lets the song lead the way. But quintessentially the songs are her. Lyric-driven, melodic with the intent to inspire, connect and uplift.

Having over 10 years experience in songwriting, producing and recording Julie-Anne’s musicality is informal and self-assembled. Through her independent Artist Label Julie-Anne released her debut album ‘Bluebird’ in 2016 and has followed up with over a dozen singles.

Now based in Melbourne, Julie-Anne grew up in Adelaide with her younger years spent between the city and regional southeast. She is a city girl with a country heart. And although Julie-Anne has written poetry since she was a child, her music dream wasn’t realized until her later years. Her musical influences range from Country through to Jazz and everything in between.

Julie-Anne has previously performed live in bands around Adelaide and regional SA.
